Our Mat Teacher Training course is for any student wanting to get certified in Pilates or simply wanting to deepen their own personal practice. Joseph Pilates created Mat Work as the foundation of his entire method and, at The Nookery School of Movement, we honor that intention by ensuring each student receives a solid base to their education in Mat before moving onto Comprehensive Training.

Our 100-Hour program includes 48 in-studio lecture hours over the course of three weekends, plus 52 hours of Observation, Self-Practice and Practice Teaching.
Upon successful completion of the in-studio written and practical exams, students will be eligible to sit for the NPCP Exam to receive their National Pilates Mat Certification.
Our Comprehensive Teacher Training is an extensive course for those who have completed their Mat Teacher Training and are ready to delve into and explore all of Joseph Pilates' ingenious equipment: The Cadillac, Reformer, Wunda Chair, Ladder Barrel, Spine Corrector and auxilary equipment! Leave with all the tools needed to work with any future student!
